INFLUENCE OF AGROCHEMICAL MEASURES ON CHANGES IN MACROELEMENT COMPOSITION OF ROOT VEGETABLES OF ROOT CHICORY AND BALANCE OF ELEMENTS DURING ITS CULTIVATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article presents the results of research on the root nutrition of chicory of the root variety "Petrovsky" when cultivated on gray forest soils of the Bryansk region. The study examined the effect of different doses of organic and mineral fertilizers on the elemental composition of root crops and the balance of nutrients. It was found that, on average, over the years of research, the content of basic nutrients in root vegetables was 0.78% nitrogen, 0.33% phosphorus, and 1.53% potassium. A significant increase in the content of the studied nutrients was revealed, with an in-crease in the doses of organic and mineral fertilizers used. At the same time, the greatest accumulation of potassium was observed in slightly dry humidification conditions. Analysis of the yield of nutrients showed that it was primarily determined by the level of yield, while the influence of the elemental composition of the air-dry mass of the root crop was insignificant. Optimal weather conditions contributed to the maximum removal of nutrients when applying fertilizer. Calculation of the balance of nutrients demonstrated that organic fertilizers in the studied doses provided a positive balance of all basic nutrients. Among mineral fertilizers, a positive balance of phosphorus was observed in all variants, nitrogen only when using doses of N90P90K90 and N120P120K120, and a positive balance of potassium could not be achieved. The obtained data make it possible to optimize the fertilization system of root chicory in the conditions of gray forest soils of the Bryansk region, ensuring an increase in crop yield and rational use of nutrients. The research results can be used in the development of agrochemical recommendations for agricultural production.
