The resilience of regional livestock production is determined not only by aggregate output but also by the institutional configuration of supply-how production and livestock stocks are distributed across agricultural enterprises, household farms, and the farm/individual entrepreneur segment. This is particularly relevant for Sverdlovsk region, where demographic and labor constraints in rural areas and the contraction of household farming increase concentration risks, while price, logistics, and veterinary shocks require adaptive supply chains. The study aims to identify how changes in the distribution of output and livestock stocks across producer categories relate to short-term production resilience, using official statistics for January-November 2024-2025. The methodology combines structural and dynamic analysis of official data, decomposition of output growth by institutional sector, calculation of concentration proxies (Herfindahl-Hirschman Index) and normalized entropy as deconcentration measures, and performance ratios (conditional productivity: milk output per cow and egg output per bird) to interpret resilience under changing stocks. The scientific novelty lies in operationalizing the "deconcentration – resilience" nexus as a measurable institutional mechanism in regional livestock systems: (1) a product-specific deconcentration metric by producer category is introduced; (2) an empirical asymmetry between output dynamics and stock dynamics is demonstrated; (3) the "productivity-compensated concentration" effect is substantiated-output growth under declining stocks driven by technological and organizational intensification and selective exit of small producers. The results show that aggregate output in January-November 2025 remained positive (slaughter weight +1.6%; milk +2.1%; eggs +0.6%) despite a decline in total cattle (-4.5%) and cows (-6.5%). Agricultural enterprises provided the dominant contribution to output growth, while household farms reduced both production and stocks, reinforcing institutional concentration in the meat and egg segments and creating a long-term risk of reduced "diversification of supply sources".
