The article is devoted to solving the urgent problem of reducing the productivity of wide-range circular sprinkler machines on sloping agricultural lands. Despite the widespread use and reliability of the Kuban-LK1 type machines, their operation in areas with a slope above 0.05 is associated with a significant decrease in efficiency. The key reason for this is the formation of surface runoff of irrigation water, which leads to loss of bearing capacity of the soil, intensive slipping of the running system, pipeline deformations and frequent emergency stops. As a result, the shift productivity of the machine is reduced by 18-20%, which negatively affects the volume of agricultural production. As a scientifically based solution, the authors propose a comprehensive modernization of the sprinkler equipment of the machine. The upgrade includes the sequential installation of flow control devices of the membrane type and rod dividers. This technical solution allows you to switch to flow-free irrigation by reducing the intensity of rain from 0.4 to 0.2 mm / min and increasing the area of capture of the spray torch. This stabilizes the bearing capacity of the soil in the area of movement of the running system and completely eliminates the main cause of skidding and related technological failures. The economic justification of the project, carried out in accordance with GOST 53056-2008, demonstrates the high efficiency of the proposed modernization. According to calculations, the annual savings from using the upgraded machine reach 2303221 rubles per unit. Additional investments in equipment are fully recouped during one agricultural season. Thus, the work is a complete study that offers a technologically and economically feasible solution to increase the productivity of one of the key types of irrigation equipment in difficult terrain conditions.
