The article analyzes the processes of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation and the requirements for registration in federal information systems (FGIS). Based on statistical data and the regulatory framework, an improved model of the functioning of crop-growing peasant (farmer) farms in the context of digitalization is proposed. The study was conducted on the example of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass. The work highlights the stages and principles of modern peasant (farmer) farms, the role of registration in the FGIS «Seed Production», EFGIS ZSN, FGIS «Grain» and FGIS «Saturn», as well as related barriers. Research methods include statistical analysis, descriptive method and systematization of materials. The data on the dynamics of investments in fixed assets of peasant (farmer) farms in the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass, the level of use of information technology in households of rural settlements in the region are analyzed. The results show that digitalization significantly affects all stages of production and marketing of agricultural products, requires certain costs for equipment and qualified personnel, and the lack of registration in the Federal State Registration Service limits access to government support and markets. The proposed model provides for the creation of a single digital platform, a regional information center, and municipal consultants providing registration, reporting, and access to subsidies. This approach makes it possible to increase product traceability, expand access to markets and government support programs, and strengthen the resilience of farms in the digital economy.
