The academic district of the city of Yekaterinburg is a unique object of research, as it is characterized by a high density of buildings, developed infrastructure and a significant number of land users, including individuals and legal entities. This creates a difficult situation in terms of control over the condition of land and their use. Violations of land legislation, such as self-seizure of land, the use of plots for other purposes, unauthorized development and others, can lead to serious consequences for the ecology of the region and the quality of life of the population. Within the framework of this work, mechanisms for the implementation of state land supervision are considered, existing problems are analyzed and ways to solve them are proposed in relation to the Academic District of Yekaterinburg.
