Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
At this point in time, peasant farms have occupied their specific niche in the agricultural sector of the economy. Farming is associated with a dynamically developing part of the multifunctional agro-industrial complex, which makes a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural sector and the social sphere of the Russian countryside. The concept of a peasant farm and its legal status is currently enshrined in the Federal Law of June 11, 2003 N 74-FZ (last edition) "On a Peasant (Farm) Economy" [1]. But the question of the final definition of the legal status of the peasant (farm) economy has not been resolved to date.          This article discusses the issue of legal regulation of a peasant farm as an organizational and legal form. The authors determine the state of organizational and legal development of peasant farms at the stage of modern development of the Russian state. They identify the main problems affecting the effective development of peasant farming in the Russian Federation, and also suggest ways to solve problems identified in the process of analyzing the organizational and legal regulation of the activities of peasant farms.
